Rabid Bat Bites Child Reported in June

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture announced a rabid bat bite on a Susquehanna County child in June. Secretary Leland Bull said this marked the second June bat bite to a child, the other occurring in Clinton County. Both children reportedly received anti rabies treatment.
