Landisville-Salunga 4 H Sewing Club Meets
The Landisville-Salunga 4 H Sewing Club held its fifth meeting Monday in Hempfield High School home economics room. President Sue Mumma led the pledge as secretary and treasurer reports were read. Debbie McFarland and Valerie Roye led singing. members gave sewing demonstrations. The next meeting is July 13 from 9 to 11:30 am in the Senior Home Economics room.

New Providence 4-H Club Meetings Report
New Providence 4-H Clubs met recently at Providence Elementary School for Community Club and at Mrs Floyd D Atkins Jr home for Wildlife Club. Larry Landis presided. Lloyd Coover Dean Madden and Milton Dietrich led pigeon topics with slides on racing pigeon nutrition and management. A pigeon film was shown and next Community Club picnic at Mrs Atkins home is planned. Susan Atkins led Wildlife Club with a camera trap project to photograph wildlife.

The fourth meeting of the Jolly Stitchers 4-H club at Mrs Clydeth Buch home Baieville Ri had 28 members present. Demonstrations were given by Kaye Smith Cindy Smith Joyce Holst and Jane Smith. An extension agent showed a film on sewing a waist band. New business covered fundraising and a forthcoming field day. Junior leaders were Kaye Smith Joyce Holst Sandra Snyder June White and Jane Smith. Leaders included Mrs Clydeth Buch Mrs Jack West Mrs Ira Simmons and Mrs Grant C Smith Jr.
