Pigs for Profit at Garden Spot High School
Garden Spot High School FFA students manage a 50 hog feeder pig venture led by Robert Woods. Eight seniors invest $20 each and split future profits after selling at a target 225 pounds. Pigs were bought at 40 pounds with 28 cents per pound expected, using facilities rented from John Weaver and project funding from Blue Ball National Bank.
