Leininger of Denver R2 won his fifth consecutive Farm Show Spotted Poland China grand championship with Miss Ideal, sired by High Pattern. Sally Ann won junior spring gilt, but reserve title went to William Kauffman of York R38. Leininger placed six ribbons overall in the event judged by George Corron from McComb Ohio.

Seventeen year old Tom Hess of Leola and Fred Hess of Leola led the Red Rose 4 H Lamb Club to a dominant Farm Show with a grand champion pen and an individual grand champion.
