Lancaster Area Milk Prices Rise Under State Order
Dairymen in the Lancaster area begin today receiving 5.95 dollars per hundredweight for milk marketed locally under a tentative order by the Pennsylvania Milk Control Commission. The action follows a January hearing in Harrisburg where proposed changes aimed to raise consumer prices by about one cent per quart.
