Lancaster County membership reached 471 as the group prepared for the January 4 kick-off with Ches ter Helm speaking at Witmer Fire Hall. The board approved 1971 Women’s Committee funding and set travel at eight cents per mile, plus sale of 40 debentures at six percent to fund a statewide debt replacement.
