Livestock market recap shows total cattle 3058 down from 6568 last week and 4160 a year ago with steers and cows mostly higher. Hogs 5213, feeders and calves variably traded with weaners and sheep also listed. prices quoted for each category and weight class. Slaughter cattle gains led by steers and cows. hogs mostly lower in barrows gilts and sow categories.
Robert Leaman of Akron completed a three day sales training seminar at American Cyanamid Company Agricultural Division headquarters in Princeton New Jersey. He was selected by New Holland Supply Company to study effective listening selling skills territory management business math and related subjects to better serve customers. The program ended with a tour of Cyanamid’s R D facilities. Seaman represents New Holland Supply Company in Southeastern Pennsylvania and Central Maryland.
