Bio gas device to be seen at Ag Progress
The methane gas generator built by two Ag Progress Days environmental committee members was shown at the Lebanon Area Fair. Hundreds viewed its operation powering a mantle lamp, gas stove, and a garden tractor. It uses methane from anaerobic microbial decomposition of organic waste. Built by Glenn Miller and Newton Bair, it will be exhibited at Hershey August 28 to 30 with practical demonstrations of bio gas use.
