ARS tests in Beltsville Md show Gardona a cheap organophosphate kills dairy cow larvae in manure reducing fly populations without milk residue. Feeding at 24 ppm yields 94 percent larval kill and 36 ppm 100 percent. Gardona safe for handlers. milk remains residue free up to 60 ppm. Future work fixes optimum rate and season long use.
