Local consignments included riding 85 to 190 and driving 90 to 320, with better horses 210 to 370. Mare ponies 5 to 30, geldings 5 to 20, colts 4 to 10, larger ponies 35 to 50.
Hay market report for Friday August 11 lists 10 loads with prices for alfalfa 45.00, Timothy 30.00 to 45.00, mixed hay 30.00 to 60.00. 12 loads straw 30.00 to 35.50. one load car corn 49.00. and one load oats 0.86 per bushel.
Average prices from five grain concerns shown per bushel for ear corn shelled corn oats barley and wheat with bid and offered figures. Not all dealers handle every commodity and car corn is per ton. Data dated Thursday August 17 1972.

Mixed Good and Choice 400-500 lb 38.00-39.50, 500-650 lb 35.50-37.75.
