Lancaster Poultry Center Auction Sees Broiler Prices Edge Higher
At the August 15 Lancaster Poultry Center sale 164000 broilers in 32 lots sold with prices from 15.8 to 16.3 and a sale average of 16.01, while 170000 head in 37 lots were sold from 15.6 to 18.4. The sale catalog lists lot numbers, growers, breeds, ages, buyers, and prices for 34 consignments led by Starr Poultry and Daniel K Good among others.
