The market shows mixed demand across cattle hogs and sheep with Slaughter steers steady to 25 lower since Monday trade. cows up to 50 higher, bulls steady. Feeder steers remain strong while heifers and vealers post steady to higher. calves, hogs, and sheep display varied price shifts across 525 to 1126 cattle entries and April 1 sales data.
Cattle receipts total 22 400 down from 26 900 last week and 25 900 a year ago. Slaughter steer trading is slow to steady with prices about 25 lower. Continued on page 3.
