County Plowing Contests Set to Begin After July First
County plowing contests to serve as preliminaries for the 1965 state plowing championships will be held across the Commonwealth. Deputy state secretary of agriculture Jack R. Grey says counties will list events with the state committee two weeks in advance, not later than July 1. Winners in level land and contour plowing at county meets will qualify for the State Plowing Contest on August 28 at Hershey.
