Festival of Mondamen Brings Husking Bee to Event
Epworth League staged a harvest festival titled Festival of Mondamen on Monday evening. Longfellow’s Blessing the Cornfields inspired the program. The church parlor became an old time barn scene with grain and corn decorations as children and neighbors joined in a husking bee supervised by an elderly farmer and his wife.
