Dawson County Fair Schedule And Exhibits Plan
The Dawson County Fair opens this week with entries accepted Tuesday and judging beginning Wednesday. Co General Superintendents Star Shelton and Donald Airhart oversee, with Weldon Shelton as livestock chief. Booth space is eight by four feet and commercial space available by calling the extension office at 872 3444. The Lamesa Boys Club will host a girls only recreation program for four Wednesdays funded by state and local groups, for girls aged eight to thirteen from 4 to 6 p.m. on those days.
