Two Women Survive Overturned Car Near Lamesa
Mary Lois Eicke and Wanda Everett Hash, both of O'Donnell, spent about twelve hours trapped after their 1974 Ford overturned on U.S. 87 twelve miles north of Lamesa around 10 to 11 p.m. Thursday. Eicke freed herself and flagged a motorist who summoned help. Hash remained trapped until rescue. Both were hospitalized at Medical Arts Hospital.
