Lamesan uninjured in airplane crash near Lamesa
J H Walker of 112 Chicago Drive escaped with minor cuts after his Cessna 150 lost power, crash landed in a cotton field near the Lamesa airport. The crash occurred about 8 p m on approach. Walker walked two miles to the airport, then reported to authorities. Local officials searched the area for about 30 minutes before locating the site three miles east of Lamesa.
