Trusteess sale notices diverge with colorized deeds

Public auction notices detail foreclosure under two separate trust deeds in Colorado. First, John Belew’s promissory note of 1725 secured by deed dated June 15 1559 prompts sale on October 20 at 10 am at the Tremont Street court house door in Denver, with parcels in Prowers County and a water right from Arkansas River canal company. Second, William Mygatt and Charles McIntosh announce sale on October 13 1891 at 10 am at Tremont Street court house to satisfy a $400 principal note plus $12 coupon notes, covering Lot 10 in block 14 Lamar, Bent County, now in Prowers County, and related property.

Railroad notes and Santa Fe Route promote state fair tickets

A. T. & S. F. Time Cane Lamar Colorado schedules West Bound trains and fares. For the State fair opening on September 24th Santa Fe will sell Pueblo tickets and return at 4.70 valid to October 1st with sales on the 24th 26th and 29th. The Coming Line touts through trains from Denver to Chicago with Pullman dining and sleepers and warns of cheap rides to California via the Santa Fe Route.

Easy as a Cradle on Santa Fe Route Cannonball Train

A vintage Santa Fe route advertisement touts the Denver to Chicago Cannonball train with chair cars library cars and day coaches. It explains a Pullman tourist sleeper as a comfortable sleeping car with bedding curtains and toilet articles, maintained by a porter. It notes the line uses tourist cars to the Pacific coast and offers a folding folder via G H Nicholson Topeka Kansas.

Trust deed sale notice in Prowers County Colorado

Sheriff W C McCurry announces the trust deed sale of the property in the southwest quarter of section 11, township 22 south, range 43 west, containing 160 acres, as security for a note of 300 dollars to The American Mortgage Trust Company. The sale is set for October 11, 1891, at Lamar Court House, at public auction to satisfy the debt, with publication from September 12 to October 10, 1591.
