A Republican convention for Prowers County is set for September 10 1808 at 10 am at the Lamar courthouse to nominate candidates for County Judge and County Commissioner and to elect delegates to state and district conventions. Representation is by two delegates per precinct plus one per 15 votes or fraction thereof from the 1807 judge race. Primaries will be held September 4 at designated polling places.
