A traveler notes a Sept. trip from La Junta and Lamar canals to Rocky Ford. They describe alfalfa seed woes, canal washout, and a town fair with strong horticultural displays, a notable apples and grapes exhibit, and quality art. The party thanks G. M. Hall, fair secretary, and plans to write more about observations.
