The What Are You Convention in the legislative district met at the court house last Saturday with A. D. Rawlings as chairman and J. S. Booker as secretary. A controversial resolution restricted nominations to Democrats, seen as violating the Prowers delegation contract, leading to disorder as the proceedings devolved into chaos.

The deed of trust names Frank K Atkins as original trustee and Arkansas River Land Reservoir and Canal Company as signer.
