An Expensive Trial in New York Murder Case

It is estimated the two trials of Roland B. Molineux for the murder by poison of Mrs. Kate B. Adams on December 28, 1898, cost more than any capital offense trial under the English system. Alan Mason Released After Murder Charge Discharged

CambridgeMass November 12 Alan G Mason Boston clubman accused of murdering Clara A Morton of Waverly was discharged by Judge Charles Almy as the government found insufficient evidence. In the same court George Perry a young Black man once a Mason witness was charged with Morton’s murder and remanded without bail for a November hearing.
