The Lamar area reports election day activities with residents planning travels to Granada and Holly for gatherings. Notables include Bottomley the photographer visiting Granada and Holly, D. E. Cooper and C. C. Goodale in Denver, and various social events at the opera house and new cinema setup.
The Teachers' Association schedules a program on November 27 at the Lamar public school building. Welcome address by J. K. Doughty followed by solo One Morning Oh So Early. Edith Wilson presents Lamar Primary Methods in Reading with discussions led by Miss Anna Billings D H Dickason Carlton. Other topics include Civil Government in the Grades and Penmanship with several discussion leaders from Lamar Granada May Valley and Gra nada.
Mrs Lizzie CO Harper leads a county teachers meeting with Miss Ella Kestler Holly as discussion chair. Music will intersperse the program. County teachers and patrons are invited to attend and participate. The meeting time is changed to allow better preparation. the association will meet Saturday November 27 at 1 30.
