Two colored men who had been here six weeks left for the west last Saturday morning after doing much cleaning around town and earning high satisfaction. Oliver Mourning and Miss May Kornman married last Sunday afternoon at Pueblo. Mourning to reside there briefly then likely return. Church notices follow with services listed for Methodist, Baptist, and temperance meeting, inviting all.
Decoration Day observances scheduled for Thursday May 30 at the M E Church include 2:30 p m exercises at the church, a parade to the cemetery with children flowers a band and veterans in carriages. graves will be decorated and an illustrated lecture will follow at the opera house featuring Evangelist Wm Shelton Jr with music and 25 cent admission.
