Sheriff Witt of Kiowa county arrested in a wire rustling case. Rustlers watched in this locality. School board called a new election last Tuesday. Two north side voters were challenged. M. M. Brown elected president and W. E. Vincent treasurer by 15 to 13. R. M. Watson contemplates contesting the election. Salary will pay him if he wins.

Terrific Explosion at La Junta Electric Plant
