Scoring Systems Debate in Belgian Hare Shows
The article discusses the clash between two scoring methods the score card and the comparison system used by Belgian hares. It notes the National Belgian Hare Club of America backing the score card, English judges retracting some claims, and a $500 gold prize or equal diamond for a proving trial. It mentions breeders using score cards to gauge percent deficiencies and prepare for shows, while the comparison system only indicates defeat without specifics. Rumors say P. E. Crabtree's England visit swayed judges toward the score card.
