Lamar Plans A Big Fourth Celebration For County
Committees for the Fourth celebration are busy with a full program. Morning parade led by Grand Marshal Vanersdale ends at the band stand with remarks by Judge E C Nowels and Hon C C Goodale and band music. Afternoon track races for boys and others, burro and bicycle events, then novelty races downtown. Entries due by June 30 to M J Underwood. Evening grand ball by the firemen.

Sunday School Quarterly Review Program
The union Sunday School quarterly review will be held next Sunday afternoon at the Christian church. Excursion Rates For National Educational Association Meetings
The Santa Fe offers one fare for round trips plus a $2 membership fee for the National Educational Association gathering in Asbury Park New Jersey from July 10 to 13 with tickets on sale July 6 and 7 valid until July 30. For the United Societies of Christian Endeavor meeting in Cleveland Ohio starting July 11 the rate is one fare for round trip with tickets on sale July 8 and 9 valid until August 3.
