A Boulder district strike near the pioneer Arnold well, 200 feet north, fractured oil with a gas ignition causing a brief blaze that burned 2,500 feet of cable. Dewey to command vast U S naval fleet for winter maneuvers

Washington reports that Admiral Dewey will be placed in supreme command of a联合 fleet including North Atlantic European and South Atlantic squadrons. The maneuver near Culebra Island in the West Indies is planned for December with Secretary Moody and President possibly visiting. Moody will also observe summer maneuvers with an allied attack on eastern approaches to New York City.

Missing Girl Found Near Denver After Disappearance

Katherine Bullen, a Colorado College graduate who had just returned from Vassar, was found asleep in a gully near the Bessemer ditch six miles from Denver. She had disappeared last Sunday and was identified by William Moses. She was brought to Henderson ranch house for care. Her brothers own the Bullen Bridge Company.
