The Semon Bros. Monster Shows wow crowds with Rajah the enormous act, the Boxing Kangaroo, Little Edna the acrobat, a first class troupe, perfect menagerie, and a lively side show. A grand parade headlines the event as one of the biggest and best ever seen in town per the Roushville Standard May 13.
The Granada column notes H. P. Sup named city clerk to replace the late G. Lynch and praises the choice. It covers rail fares to the Omaha exposition, bull stock from Missouri, haymaking, crops, local visits, lodge attendance, church improvements, and school board picks for Granada's upcoming year. It also addresses rumors of illness in Lamar and Granada, dismissing them as unfounded.
The Lamar editor notes caution on disease and quarantine, praises Granada teachers including principal J A Rosebrough and wife Mary, and expects growth in staffing. Resolutions honor late brother C G Lynch. Arkansas Valley items report post office move, hail damage, Fourth of July plans, and Rocky Ford fair contracts.
