Unusual Lamar congregation and hotel site news

A small Lamar Methodist service drew flies and few attendees, described as a noteworthy local oddity. Marshal Wilson and A Virgin clashed with several men. Tom Reed was wounded by a bullet and sent to Pueblo for treatment. The new hotel’s walls rise, with a planned ground floor office, dining area, stores, and twenty one ventilated rooms, promising Lamar a brighter hotel town image.
