Joint session forms bent and prowers county debt plan
Bent and Prowers county boards meet at Las Animas court house on July 19 1889 to settle Bent Co indebtedness. They apportion twenty two thousand seven hundred fifteen and 82 100 dollars to Prowers and set warrants and tax provisions with future payments and penalties. Also transfer township plats and ballot boxes to Prowers.
