An 8 o clock talk at the Methodist Church by Dr. William Burdick of Boulder Colorado titled Nathan Hale the Martyr Teacher of the Revolution. The evening promises rich intellectual treat with an orchestra providing music. Resolutions of respect from La mar Lodge No 90 A F and A M dated January 18 1895 honor Brother A H Vanersdale noting his public spirit and lauding his memory. The lodge to be draped in mourning for thirty days and resolutions to be inscribed and published.
The Conroe Lyceum holds a biweekly meeting with a Friday February 1 debate on whether a liar harms a neighborhood more than a thief. Aff firmers Ed Haptonstall Bernhard Finke oppose with Allen Embree Rh McNeil. The program features library talks by David Barnes, music by Haptonstal Browning, multiple recitations and select readings by local figures, and a farewell address by David Barnes.
The firm of Vanorsdale and Everett is dissolved by the death of U H Vanorsdale and the partnership will be closed. Creditors must present accounts for payment and debtors must settle. Dated January 8, 1845. A Everett, Surviving Partner.
Trustee Henry J. Page announces sale of Stuart O. Henry's property in Arapahoe County Colorado to satisfy the note of 1600 dollars dated May 1 1590. The public auction will be at the north door of Denver Court House on February 1 1805 with water rights and 60 acres in the Arkansas River land reserve included.
