Dick's friends in Prowers county wish him well wherever he locates and Les Morris says west north side holds brighter prospects this season. Old timers who endured early settlement joys see fruits of labor as prosperity rises. Two thieves from New York store last week received ten days hard labor and fled from Bent's dam after trailing wheelbarrows seen at the pump station. the marshal pursued but the men escaped.
