John McBride of Drexel Missouri bought the east half of section 21 township 21 south range 46 west and will lease this year then reside in Prowers county next year. A buckboard accident near Prowers claimed David Birge life. funeral held at the Methodist church with large attendance. Birge was a longtime local resident and insured in the Woodman order.
