Trusteess sale of Colorado land with water rights in 1897
William Harper executed a February 1882 trust deed to Henry J. Aldrich conveying the La Junta and Lamar Canal water rights and adjoining quarter section in Prowers County Colorado to secure a $1500 promissory note. Due to default on coupons and taxes, the holder declared the debt due and authorized a sale. Trustee W W Dale, substitute in trust, will auction the property at the Denver county court house front door on February 16 1897 to satisfy the obligation and costs.
