Lamar County Commission Minutes Open To 1903
Prowers County Board met in regular session in Lamar on April 6 1903 approving numerous claims and warrants against the ordinary county revenue fund road funds and special contingent accounts. Items include payments to J A Rosebrough JF Curry Out West Printing Co and Lamar Electric Co with notes on road district work and sheriff and county official fees.

County board approves tax rebate and claims in Lamar
The Board of County Commissioners of Prowers County Colorado met with part of their members present. The petition of the A T and B F R Co asked for a rebate of 10.08 for excessive taxation per mile of track in Lamar and was granted. Joel Knowlen’s roadwork district 2 claim was allowed and a warrant for 2.50 issued. Other claims were allowed with warrants drawn on ordinary revenue for JK Stevenson and WE McPherson for services and mileage, and Joel Knowlen for free sees. The board adjourned to meet May 4.
