Prowers County Teachers to Hold Closing Meeting at Granada
The closing session of the Prowers County Teachers Association for the school year will be at the Granada Methodist church on Saturday April 30 at 1 30 p m Patrons and teachers from all parts of the county are invited Free entertainment is offered by Granada residents The program centers on topics from the chosen reading course The association will act as a class with instructors for each topic A program includes singing a quartet recitations and a lecture by Z X Snyder president of the Colorado State Normal School titled Whats Living.

Evidently knew something but not a word would he say. Joe Hutchins said he had been in trouble enough during the past year and wasn't going into any more. Harry Wolf said he hardly had courage to ask for two pieces of meat at the table, and was certain sure that if he ever got married someone would have to ask him. Harry owns a real nice house, too. Mike Lamb says You just wait a bit, and I'll show you. Art Crawford frankly said that he was very modest and that while he was getting his courage up, some other fellow always got away with the girl he had set his heart on. He was in the market, however, and ex pected that his time would come sooner or later, probably later.

School Notes Signal Last Weeks of Term
Six weeks remain in the school term with May graduates and a May 27 entertainment. The public school Arbor Day program featured recitations and songs as rooms planted trees and rose bushes in memory of pupils Willie Glenn and Cecil Van Etten who died this year. The Kindergarten reports record attendance and Latin Beginners complete the text, while botany lessons involve daily seed growth observations.
