Gardeners wait lists persist at Centers 1 and 2 with 175 and 77 names respectively as the Garden Center Advisory Group weighs per plot charges around 30 percent of cost. Proposed annual fees include 37 for common gardens 74 for tree lots and 110 for others with space constraints at Garden Centers 2 and 3. Local fire station plans and site prep costs loom, while theft risk and security features are debated. Garden Center 1 reports fall cleanup and tomato plantings for the season.
