Firefighters confront hoarded unit in Santa Ana blaze

Firefighters navigated 12 to 16 inch gaps to reach the fire in a hoarded Santa Ana residence. A resident suffered first and second degree burns and was taken to Western Medical Center Santa Ana. Damage estimates: 30000 to structure, 5000 to contents. The hoard was graded Level 4 by a task force. the home remains uninhabitable until cleared. Adult Protective Services will assist post hospitalization.
