Third Mutual Board OKs subcommittee changes and upgrades
The Third Mutual Board met on Tuesday October 16 approving dissolving the recycling subcommittee and folding it into landscaping by a 9 to 0 vote while the water conservation subcommittee was folded into the Maintenance and Construction Committee by a 7 to 8 vote. Treasurer Rae Tso cited charges and meters in tier 3 and 4 as drivers of an $282 000 unfavorable variance with landscaping trash and property insurance also contributing. Directors Isa bel Muennichow and Denny Welch noted monthly recycling coverage and past two months of no landscaping meetings. The board authorized 81100 to replace dry rot beams at six buildings funded from replacement fund and 9300 to remove asbestos containing flooring at Garden Villa recreation rooms at several buildings.
