Religion Directory to Run Monthly in Laguna Woods Globe

Laguna Woods Globe will publish the Religion Directory on the first Thursday of each month starting February 3 with new staff writers Cheryl Russell and Carrie Nadel. A monthly Religion column exploring all faiths will also run, content must be electronic, no handwritten submissions, and club news briefs limited to 100 words.

Laguna Woods Village to host land use town hall February 2

Residents will hear consultants from Government Solutions and Jess Harris Associates about ideas for nine parcels totaling about 72 acres in Laguna Woods Village. The GRF meeting will present options to expand recreation facilities including a fitness center and performing arts space, with decisions by United Mutual, Third Mutual and Mutual Fifty corporate members. The 1:30 p.m. session unfolds at the Community Center on El Toro Road.

Recreation Office Hours Updated and Clubhouse Reservations

New Recreation Division Office hours take effect Tuesday February 1 with operations Monday through Friday 8 am to noon and 10 pm to 5 pm. The office including clubhouse reservations closes from noon to 1 pm for lunch.
