Cookie Crawl and holiday happenings in Pacific City

Pacific City hosts its first free Cookie Crawl with cookie bags at 4 30 p m near the big screen and a 5 to 6 p m stroll through participating merchants, followed by a screening of The Polar Express at 6 p m in Huntington Beach. The event location is 21010 Pacific Coast Highway near Main Street.

Plaque memorial honors Huntington Beach spiritual surfers

A plaque at Huntington Beach Pier memorializes pastors Sumo Sato and Mondor, known as the Surfing Padre and a healing force uniting faiths. Both died within weeks of each other, Sato in 2019 and Mondor in 2023, and helped start Blessing of the Waves and other interfaith initiatives.
