Young Journalists Showcase Skill at OC Education Meet
More than 300 student journalists competed in the Orange County Journalism Education Association annual contest at Fullerton College. Print students covered an hour-long press conference and had another hour to write or draw. Photographers designers and yearbook students had two hours to shoot and design pages. Professional journalists judged the entries. Schools also submitted newspapers or online publications for Best in Show.
