Stars & Stripes Tournament boosts Orange County children
The 8th annual Stars & Stripes Tournament, a four day fishing golf and music fundraiser in Mexico, raised a record 2.7 million for children’s charities. Since 1997 the event has generated over 20 million. Knights board includes Al Baldwin Jeff Cunningham Larry Kirkenslager Charles Ruck Dick Gebhard and Tim Ryan. More than 600 participants from Orange County supported Orangewood CASA Miracles for Kids and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County. Gary Sinise and The Lt Dan Band performed with Michael Israel and Super Diamond headlining other nights. Proceeds benefit charities in Orange County and Mexico.
