Laguna Beach Juniors fall to Viejo in All Star final
Laguna Beach Juniors season ends with a 22-1 loss to Viejo at Windrow Park Irvine in the District 55 All Star Tournament elimination. Manager Tom Pierce notes injuries and vacations reduced their roster to three of five pitchers, while Nathan Pickett starred in a 6-5 ten-inning win over Rancho Santa Margarita in the previous round. Pierce praises the effort, cites a bright outlook with young players, and expects another strong Juniors season with more 12 year olds joining and potential expansion to add a second team.
