July 4 Fireworks Plans and Beach Park Rules
July 4 events go on around 9 p.m. with fire engines staged for possible incidents due to heat and dry brush. No fireworks or fires allowed on beaches or in parks. Portable cooking devices banned. stationary barbecues available first come, first served. Trolley service ends at 6:30 p.m. Veterans groups host a National Bell Ringing Ceremony at Legion Hall with a post ceremony picnic. 100 American flags to be installed. call 376-6340 for details.
