Aliso Viejo family honors organ donor portrait float
The Weiss family saluted 10 year old organ donor Tommy Weiss as his floragraph appeared on the Donate Life Rose Parade float. Tommy died in 1997 after a car accident. his heart went to 13 year old Christopher Truxan, who later graduated from Stanford and started a business. Over 70 organ donors were honored with floral portraits on the float as Pasadena observers marked Donate Life’s ninth year in the parade.
