Infinity founder Boehne shapes a legacy in surf culture
Boehne began shaping boards at 13 and built about a hundred in his garage before joining Gordie Surfboards in 1968. He launched Infinity Surfboards in 1970 after a stint as Surfboards by Steve, partnered with Barrie, and grew to over 40,000 boards and a famed tandem surfing legacy. His team, including sons David and Dan, weathered cycles and economic shifts while continuing to innovate in Huntington Beach.
