Cab fare dispute ends with standoff in Laguna Beach
Haynes Boeck, 41, fled into a house after a Circle K to evade a $100 cab fare. Police evacuated nearby homes, contained the scene, and took Boeck into custody after he brandished a 10 inch deer carving knife. No drugs or alcohol found. incident ended peacefully.
