Obituary of Mrs John Willis at 51 in Sheldon
Mrs John Willis died at her home east of Sheldon on Tuesday May 18 aged 51. Born in Maine December 12 1857 she came with her parents to Hau Claire at age two where she later married John Willis in 1878. Her husband and nine children survive. Her brother C E Cole and wife attended the funeral conducted by Rev J E Watson and interment was in Sheldon cemetery.

May 14 marked Caley Lake’s last day as students graduated with Miss Gertie Rapp delivering the principal address.
